1. Use Movie Theater Rewards Programs
2. Buy Movies
Stores like Walmart and Best Buy will often have deals on Blu-rays and DVDs for dollars off a movie ticket when you buy the Blu-ray or DVD. It will say on the package if there is a deal like this. These are sometimes for a specific movie. Usually this is enough to get a matinee ticket FREE. Amazon often has deals like this, too but you may have to purchase more than one movie to get a FREE ticket or money off a ticket.
3. Enter Sweepstakes and Giveaways
Companies are always giving away prizes and movie tickets are common prizes. They are also pretty easy to enter and only take a few minutes each. You can also find lots of giveaways on blogs and some will be some for FREE movie tickets. My other blog, Enchanted Savings, has a list of blog giveaways and links to other blogs with giveaway lists.
4. Check Fandango
5. Special Promotions
Many companies have special promotions and sometimes they offer movie tickets. I have seen this most with cereals. Buy a couple boxes, enter codes online, get a FREE movie ticket. It’s pretty simple. Just don’t forget to get the code once you eat the cereal.
6. Attend Advance Movie Screenings
Most movies that are released in theaters have advance screenings that you can see for FREE. You do have to reserve your spot as soon as possible since spots fill up fast. You can go to sites like gofobo.com and getscreening.com to find screenings in your area.
