Muvico Theatres MuviStar Rewards Program

Muvico Theatres has been purchased by Carmike Cinemas

Check out Carmike Rewards for their rewards program.

Muvico Theatres has a rewards program called MoviStar. To participate in their rewards program, you have to get a membership card at your local theater. After you get your membership card, you can sign up online.

Each individual over the age of 13 can have a membership card. You get 1 point per movie ticket purchased and up to 4 points from concessions. You can earn a maximum of 8 points per membership card in a day.

Once you get 30 points, you get a FREE movie ticket. After you have reached 30 points, you will only need 15 more points for a FREE movie ticket.

You will not earn points from purchasing group tickets or discount popcorn coupons but you may earn when you redeem them.

You can also get a coupon for FREE popcorn when you sign up for the Muvico Theaters Newsletter Club

This possibly the worst website I have ever been asked to access. Have been trying for over a month to register a rewards card using several different computer systems and have been told that the web page is not accessible. Apparently the only way to register my dissatisfaction and frustration about an organization that “doesn’t give a rat’s a##” about its customers is to vote with my wallet. I will not be seeing any more movies at any Muvico theaters.

    • Hi. Carmike Cinemas recently purchased some Muvico Theaters. You will want to look into Carmike Rewards instead of MuviStar Rewards. The Muvico website is not working for me either.

How do I move my muvico rewards to The Carmike rewards? I was given the Carmike rewards card because I lost the muvico card and was told it was very easy. I dont see any way to move them over. Help! Carolyn

    • I tried searching and can’t find any information on how to transfer rewards. I would recommend contacting your local theater or Carmike. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

My husband and I went to the 1:30 showing of “The Chef” on this past Sunday, June 8th. We loved the movie, however, the popcorn was probably the worst we have had in years. It was old, and had many hard pieces in it, like kernals, but not. Just wanted to let you know, as it is very expensive to buy good popcorn, but even worse when it is bad.

    Thank you.
